Rt. Hon'ble PM K.P. Sharma Oli inaugurated the 56th DGCA Conference that commenced today at Kathmandu with participation of around 400 high level delegates from 43 different countries and 14 organizations including Boeing, Airbus, IATA. The conference will last till 23rd August.

DGCA Conference was addressed by Rt. Hon'ble PM Mr. K.P. Oli, ICAO Council President Dr. O Benard Aliu, Hon'ble Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr. Yogesh Bhattarai, Regional Director APAC Office Mr. Arun Mishra and Director General of CAAN Mr. Rajan Pokhrel.

On the occasion, the ICAO flag commemorating its 75th anniversary that had been hoisted atop Mt. Everest on 23 March 2019 was handed over to ICAO Council President Dr. Aliu by Hon'ble Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr. Yogesh Bhattarai.

The ICAO TRAINAIR-PLUS Full membership certificate that Civil Aviation Academy had received this year on 17 January was handed over to the DG, CAAN Mr. Rajan Pokhrel by ICAO Council President Dr. Aliu.
